About us
The Bulgarian Trap, Double Trap and Skeet Federation is responsible for the development of three Olympic disciplines: Trap, Double Trap and Skeet.
Shooting in these disciplines, formerly known as "hunting shooting", is an Olympic sport involving the firing of shotguns at special flying targets, also known as clay (asphalt) targets. Each of the disciplines is radically different, both in terms of used facilities and in terms of weapons and ammunition.
The Bulgarian Trap, Double Trap and Skeet Federation has 18 licensed shooting ranges, 32 clubs and over 400 registered shooters (competitors).
The Bulgarian Trap, Double Trap and Skeet Federation is a member of the International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF),the European Shooting Confederation (ESC) and the Bulgarian Olympic Committee (BOC).
Goals
The goals of the Bulgarian Trap, Double Trap and Skeet Federation are:
The development of sports activities in the field of shooting in the disciplines "Trap", "Double trap" and "Skeet" and coordination of efforts to promote it.
Building national teams in the trap, double trap and skeet disciplines and participation in international competitions organized by the National Sports Federations, the International Shooting Sport Federation / ISSF /, the European Shooting Confederation / ESC / and the International Olympic Committee.
Increasing the general and special sports-technical and general physical training of athletes and practitioners of shooting in the disciplines "trap", "double trap" and "skeet", as well as helping its development and dissemination in the Republic of Bulgaria.

Protection of the professional, social and labor interests of its members.
