The BTSF President with a prize from the ESC President
In the period 20 - 24.10.2021. The ESC General Assembly was held in Larnaca, Cyprus, with the participation of the BTSF President and Secretary General.
Mr. Iliya Kirilov, was given a prize by the President of ISSF and ESC Mr. Vladimir Lisin, for the development of shooting sport in Bulgaria.
In addition to the reports of the Presidium, the President, the Auditor, the Treasurer and the ESC Review Committee, the agenda included topics related to the representation of shooting in the media, an update of the ESC / ISSF position on ECHA's proposal to limit the use of lead in the shooting and there were also the proposals for changes in the Statute and the General Rules of the ESC, in accordance with the changes in the Statute of the ISSF.
On the second day of the General Assembly, the nominations for President, Vice-Presidents, members of the Presidium and Chairmen of the Technical Committee were presented, followed by the voting. Mr. Alexander Ratner was elected President of the ESC.
After the elections, the reports of the organizers of the European Championships in 2022 were presented, information was given about the Third European Games in Poland and the organizers for the European Championships in 2024-2025 were selected.
In addition to the General Assembly, Mr. Iliya Kirilov and Ms. Evgeniya Kirilova also attended the President's Cup, in which the 12 best athletes in the men's and women's categories in the trap and skeet disciplines took part.
The visit of the BTSF management to Cyprus ended with an official gala dinner, in which the four winners of the President's Cup were awarded the "Golden target" prize.
